We share our candid thoughts on why people don’t vote, then touch on the history and significance of the Voting Rights Act of 1965 and the 19th Amendment, which declares women’s right to vote.
This is our lives we’re talking about. We must educate ourselves about our community leaders and the leaders of our country. Instead of talking about how we like or don’t like certain candidates, let’s talk about each candidate's actions and how those actions have impacted history and how they will impact our future.
This election is extremely important, so vote like your life depends on it!
Important Voting Information:
The U.S. election is on November 3rd, 2020.
The deadline to register to vote is October 13th.
The deadline for requesting an absentee ballot is October 20th, and you must return it by November 3rd.
Early voting is from October 26th to November 2nd.
